I started making my own baits to combine the best features from my favorite lures. Through trial and error, using only premium components, I've put together a lineup that I have 100% confidence in and trust to have the best possible day on the water. I believe the way to achieve that is customization. You can choose hundreds of combinations for each Break Even Bait. Pick your favorite weight, head color, blade and combination of skirt color!

Break Even Baits is a small garage operation designed to do just that, "break even". I'm a hopeless tackle hoarder. Name a lure and I've owned it... My goal is to sell enough baits to fund the ones I keep for myself. One at a time.
